    Is a Michigan State graduate started New Buffalo Animal Hospital in 1983 when he and his wife, Kathy and their children moved here form Edwardsburg, MI.  Dr. Sorensen and Kathy reside in New Buffalo, MI. His hobbies include sailing and woodworking.

  • Dr. Ben Sorensen

    He grew up in the New Buffalo Animal Hospital and attended Central Michigan University. He did forestry research with the USDA-Aphis until a career change, also attending MSU for vet school. He enjoys dentistry and urgent care/emergency medicine. When he’s not in the clinic, Ben enjoys trail running with his springer spaniels, Frankie and Ellie, sailing, and home-brewing.

    Is a Purdue graduate (I know, but it can't be helped) has worked for New Buffalo Animal Hospital for years and resides in LaPorte, IN.  His hobbies include camping, fishing, and boating.
