    Is a Michigan State graduate started New Buffalo Animal Hospital in 1983 when he and his wife, Kathy and their children moved here form Edwardsburg, MI.  Dr. Sorensen and Kathy reside in New Buffalo, MI. His hobbies include sailing and woodworking.

  • Dr. John Sharon

    Is a Michigan State Graduate who sold his own practice in St. Joseph, MI in 2001 and started working at New Buffalo Animal Hospital soon after.  Dr. Sharon and his wife, Jan reside in Stevensville, MI.  He has Mr. Peeps, a diabetic cat, and is our resident expert on diabetic cats.  Hobbies include boating, woodworking and playing with his 2 grandchildren.

    Is a Purdue graduate (I know, but it can't be helped) has worked for New Buffalo Animal Hospital for four years and resides in LaPorte, IN.  His hobbies include camping, fishing, and boating.

    Yet another Michigan State graduate, who started working at New Buffalo Animal Hospital with her classmate/colleague Dr. Denuyl. She temporarily resides in Bridgman with her cat Sam but is looking forward to settling down in a more horse-friendly home.  In her spare time, she volunteers at Michiana Humane Society and enjoys horseback riding, camping and hiking.

    Butters is a 2 year-old English Bulldog.  She is proficient in typing and phone operating regardless of the fact she can't keep her glasses on straight.  Her hobbies include sniffing and playing with her brother, Chunk.  Butters resides in New Buffalo, MI with her pet, Leslie.
